The loggerhead palm is an arboreal fern known as a living fossil that is in danger of extinction, over the last decades its population has been decimated as they are used for columns, foundations or fences. "Sobre la patria boba" is a piece that takes as its horizon a trunk of this native plant, collected from the foundations of an abandoned house, on which the Spanish conqueror still remains, contemplating an empty, white, lifeless landscape.
